It is a device used to examine the anterior parts of the eye (eyelid, conjunctiva, cornea, anterior chamber, lens, iris and anterior portion of the vitreous)

•    Examination of the front parts of the eye.

•    With the help of optical lenses, it is used to check the structure of the anterior chamber and fundus.

•    To make sure that contact lenses fit in the eye.

•    To check eye pressure.
